ADAB SINGH KAPOOR

Mr. Adab Singh Kapoor, an advocate by profession is the proprietor of the law firm Adab Singh Kapoor and Associates which strives to provide outstanding legal services with a strong emphasis on ethics. In the course of his professional work, he has had multiple occasion to deal with various socio-legal issues, such as domestic violence, elderly abuse, child abuse, human rights violations, etcetera. He is desirous of providing the victims of such abuse free and affordable legal aid in order to get them justice. Amongst other things, he is also desirous of providing counselling to prospective litigants in order to save their time and reduce the harassment and agony that harrowing litigation can inflict upon a litigant. Mr. Kapoor is keen to serve humanity and has set up this trust as a means to do service by undertaking various projects related to social welfare and service to humanity.

JYOTIKA KAPOOR

Mrs. Jyotika Kapoor, is a teacher by profession. She has graduated with a degree in sociology, which allows her to have an in depth understanding of the workings of society as well as the flaws in it, and has completed her masters in sustainable development. She has previously worked in the area of implementation of the sustainability standards in the garment sector in India. She is desirous of utilising her knowledge in order to fulfil her desire of serving humanity.

OBJECTIVES

Legal Aid

  • To provide free or affordable legal aid to people from all walks of life and especially to women, senior citizens, victims of child abuse, differently abled persons, elderly persons and any other person who is disadvantaged in any way. In keeping with this objective, Legal Aid Camps may be set up at different parts of Delhi and/or India.

Counselling

  • To provide counselling to individuals including those who are contemplating litigation against other persons or who have already initiated litigation.
  • To generally provide counselling to persons in order to make them positive in their approach to life.

Training and Education

  • To arrange and organize inter alia legal awareness camps, seminars, conferences, symposiums, workshops all throughout the State or the Country as the case may be, including in Schools, Colleges, Educational Institutes, rural areas, Corporate Offices, Non- Governmental Organizations', etcetera, in furtherance to the objects of Punyakarta.
  • To engage in corporate training activities, training people to think positively, achieve their goals successfully, ethically conduct their work, leadership skills, time management, techniques to be successful etcetera.
  • To conduct training programs on gender-based violence and other prevalent socio-legal issues.

Education for the underprivileged

  • To provide elementary education to the underprivileged children and impart the same in different areas in Delhi.
  • To provide study material as well as organize recreation and sporting activities for such children.
  • To provide scholarships to the deserving students.

Healthcare

  • To arrange and organize inter alia health camps, seminars, conferences, symposiums, workshops all throughout the State or the Country as the case may be, including in Schools, Colleges, Educational Institutes, rural areas, Corporate Offices, Non- Governmental Organizations', etcetera,
  • To provide awareness on health care facilities and other techniques of healing and alternative therapy to the public.

Service To Humanity

  • To arrange and organize inter alia health camps, seminars, conferences, symposiums, workshops all throughout the State or the Country as the case may be, including in Schools, Colleges, Educational Institutes, rural areas, Corporate Offices, Non- Governmental Organizations', etcetera,

We invest a lot of time and energy in trying to financially secure ourselves and our families. "PUNYAKARTA's PRO BONO FAMILY COUNSELLING INITIATIVE:EMPOWERING FAMILIES, RESOLVING CONFLICTS"

At Punyakarta we understand that family, marriage, and parenting challenges can be overwhelming and affect every aspect of one's life. The settlor of the trust, Mr. Adab Singh Kapoor, is a practicing advocate with over 15 years of experience. Throughout his legal career, he has represented clients facing challenges inter alia related to marital disputes, child custody matters, and family issues. In handling these cases, he has been supported by his colleagues, working collaboratively to address the clients' concerns. Our experience has shown that individuals dealing with such issues often require counselling to navigate their situations effectively. To address this need, the trust is launching a pro bono initiative to provide free counselling services to individuals facing the aforementioned challenges. This initiative seeks to support those who are navigating through these issues with empathy and understanding and aims to empower individuals with a clearer understanding of their circumstances and the steps they can take to resolve them. Whether one is struggling with communication in relationship, facing conflicts within family, seeking guidance on effective parenting strategies, or wishing to resolve family disputes, we hope to offer counselling sessions to help address the issues.
